This week’s words for Wordy Wednesday are brought to you by Cassandra’s word calendar. I need to get me one of these creations!
# 1) Revirescent: (adjective) growing young again.
Example: In the movie “Stardust”, Michelle Pfeiffer’s character is on a constant search for the heart of a star, so she can continue to be revirescent.
# 2) Dearth: (noun) a dire shortage.
Example: The world will come to an end for my fragile self if ever I encounter a dearth of hand cream.
# 3) Coadunate: (adjective) spiny; covered in spines.
Example: It is clear, to me, that you shouldn’t pet a coadunate beast for it will be uncomfortable to the extreme. Though, I wonder if you could ever have pet a Spinosaurus – a coadunate dinosaur – without bleeding.
Thanks for coming out for another Wordy Wednesday!
